Advent Study Begins This Month

This year’s Advent Study will allow us to explore the story of Mary, mother of Jesus, in new ways.  We will be using the book Mary: Seeing God through the Eyes of a Mother which not only tells Mary’s story through words but also through pictures that can be colored! Coloring quiets the heart and mind so we can enter more fully into Scripture’s stories, and having the scripture told from The Message offers up the passion and personality of the words.

Using the Drawn In format, explore Mary’s story and deepen friendships as we study and share together.  We will have the study on Monday nights at 6p beginning November 27th and also Tuesdays at 11:30a beginning November 28th (which also includes a soup lunch).  Please sign up for which time you will be attending in the office where you can pick up your book and pencils!  As we gather together during the season of Advent may we experience a new way of being in   relation with the story of Mary and with one another.
