Spiritual Writing Mini-Retreat
Thursday, July 13
5:30 – 8:30 p.m.
Based on the book One Day I Wrote Back by Jane Herring, this special event provides an opportunity to enter fully into scripture through writing. By simply “writing back,” we discover new truths about ourselves and God that scriptures invite us to explore. No writing experience or expertise is required; each person writes for their own spiritual growth. Bring your favorite writing instruments (paper and pencil, journal, IPad, whatever) and a Bible if you can. This small group will be led by Pastor Laurie Boche and will meet at the Barr’s Lake home of Rob and Mary West. A $10 fee covers the cost of the book and a light supper. Please call or email the office to sign up (218-724-2266 or firstname.lastname@example.org).
