Sarah Lawton is a graduate of William Kelley High School in Silver Bay, MN, Beloit College, Beloit, WI, and Claremont School of Theology in Claremont, CA and a former Peace Corps Volunteer. She is delighted to return as an adult to the North Shore. Perhaps Lake Superior called her home to be renewed from the inside out in order to continue in strength and wisdom for the work that is ahead. There is work to do to fulfill God’s dreams for us, to “do justice, love kindness and walk with God” on this good earth. And, this is indeed the most beautiful place on the planet to live and work together!

She has been around churches all her life, serving in various capacities, and grew up in the United Methodist tradition. She is married and has two grown children, and has been pleased to live in Duluth since February 2015.
