Hope for Kids Childcare

Dear Friend of Hope United Methodist Church –                                                June 9, 2020

On behalf of our Board of Directors, I am so pleased to tell you that the Hope for Kids Childcare Center will opening in early July. We expect to pass all the inspections, hire the initial staff, enroll children and be up and running very soon.

Our facilities are fabulous! New paint, floors with carpeting and tile, plumbing, lighting, ceilings, four bathrooms updated, playground and more, all make Hope for Kids one of the nicest Childcare Centers in the region. Plus, we have a prime location with easy access and plenty of parking.

Under the Covid-19 guidelines from the State of Minnesota, we plan to open with 40 children including 8 infants, 14 toddlers and 18 preschoolers. Of course, there will be a “ramp up” period but we expect to have a total of 40 children in our care by the fall of this year. Once we have clearer direction regarding the future, we expect to have upwards of 66 children attending our Childcare Center sometime in 2021.

You Can Help Promote Hope for Kids

To advertise our opening, we need about 40 volunteers to put a yard sign in their front yards. If you live in a high traffic area or one where there are lots of kids, please consider putting a sign up. To get a sign for your yard, please call Marcia DeMeo Morse, our Childcare Executive Director, and arrange a time to pick one up at the Church. The Childcare Center phone number is 218-724-1510 or Marcia’s cell is 218-491-3934.

We’ll also have a new website soon. Visit hope4kidsmn.com to make information available.

Please let everyone know that we’ll be open in July.

Thank you for your support and your prayers. Hope for Kids means hope for us as well.

Sincerely,

Rob West
